How do I update the chargepoint firmware if the customer has no WiFi access?

How to upgrade the firmware if you lack WiFi access at the customer site.

If there is no connected customer Wi-Fi and the unit requires a firmware update, we suggest you use your mobile phone's WiFi hotspot function to enable access to the internet.

Connect the chargepoint to your personal hotspot using the WiFi setup feature in the S&P app. Once the charge unit is connected to the hotspot the firmware update will automatically start.

Please note the charge unit only supports 2.4hz WiFi. When using newer 5Hz compatible phones, ensure the compatibility mode feature is enabled.
