Andersen EV has gone into administration

Reflecting on Andersen EV’s Administration

Despite our entire team having left Andersen EV two years ago, it is with great sadness that we learn of the company’s recent administration. This is disappointing news for all involved and a harsh reality for former employees, existing staff, business partners, and loyal customers who relied on Andersen’s products and services. The EV industry is dynamic, fast-moving, and full of challenges, and seeing a once-prominent brand struggle is a reminder of the complexities that come with innovation and growth.

The reality is that every business faces hurdles from supply chain disruptions to evolving regulations and shifts in consumer demand. Navigating these challenges requires resilience, adaptability, and a clear understanding of purpose. Here at Simpson & Partners, we embrace these challenges, knowing that staying competitive, thriving in business, and delivering real value comes not just from chasing market trends, but from deeply believing in what you do and why you exist.

Losing a competitor in the industry is always bittersweet. While competition drives progress and pushes brands to innovate, it is also a critical part of a healthy, evolving market one that ensures better products, smarter solutions, and enhanced customer experiences. Andersen EV played a role in shaping home EV charging, and it is always regrettable to see a business with a vision disappear from the landscape.

For former Andersen EV customers, we hope they find continued support and solutions that meet their needs as they navigate this transition. And for the industry as a whole, moments like these serve as a reminder of the importance of long-term stability, customer trust, and sustainable business models.

At Simpson & Partners, we remain focused on the future, committed to innovation, integrity, and delivering exceptional products that stand the test of time.
