Yes. For landlords who wish to install EV chargers into their own car park, there are grants that help with money towards the cost of the charger and money towards the cost of installing the infrastructure.
Electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint grant gives you money off the cost of installing an electric vehicle charge point socket. You can get 75% off the cost to buy and install a socket, up to a maximum of £350 per socket. Commercial landlords can apply for up to 100 grants per year. Residential landlords may be eligible for up to 200 grants per year.
Electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure grant gives you money off the cost of wider building and installation work that’s needed if you install multiple charge point sockets (ie multiple charging bays). This has been set up to encourage the uptake of electric charge points for those living in flats, rental accommodation, and apartment blocks and not available for commercial landlords. It’s best to check on the government website here and let your authorised OZEV installer assess the best way make the most of the grants available.
